Read on below for letters on what the change means from Eric Nilsson of Intermountain Audiology and Mike Alley, who has been helping Wyoming residents regain hearing for nearly 40 years.

Advancing the Standard of Care
Last month we announced our name change, and this month we are excited to announce another great addition to our mission and team. As of September 1st, 2016 Intermountain Audiology Hearing Clinics has joined forces with High Country Hearing Centers to expand our mission into the great state of Wyoming. We find great satisfaction in helping our community members to reconnect with family, friends, and loved ones.
By bringing High Country Hearing Centers founder Mike Alley, his staff, family of patients and Wyoming locations together with Intermountain Audiology we continue to position our staff as the largest and most comprehensive team of hearing care specialists in all of the Intermountain West.
Having Mike and High Country Hearing Centers join with us in unity to further the cause of Empowering Active-Aging for all the residents in the Intermountain West is a testament to his desire and our shared goals, efforts, and mission to bring true change to the lives of individuals in our individual communities and across the Intermountain West.
We have people come in who have been isolated from their friends and family for years. Some have had bad experiences, and others don’t even realize how isolated they are until we open the door for them. Restoring and improving hearing can have a total 180-degree effect on their lives.
We’ve had some clients cry tears of joy in the office because they are so happy to once again feel that connection with their world. It’s an incredibly fulfilling feeling for our staff. That mission inspires us to keep on growing. Our goal is to reach as many people looking for help as possible, and to help them reach the happiness they’ve been searching for.
All of that passion for excellence comes along with the best full-time service offices in the Intermountain West. Without that level of service and care, the growth we have been experiencing wouldn’t be worth it. Combined, we are the longest-tenured hearing care clinics in Southern Utah; we are proud to have successfully treated thousands of residents across the Intermountain West during the last 37 years.

After 37 years of helping Wyoming residents “Hear the Wonders of Your World and fighting the underperforming hearing solutions offered by part-time Wyoming audiologists it is with excitement that I have found another team of healthcare professionals committed to my same ideals, goals, and mission of Empowering Active- Aging by providing solutions with boosted clarity and improved ability to hear in background noise.
Saddling up as a member of one of the largest Audiology and Hearing groups in the Intermountain West will be a great move for my High Country Hearing Center patients, staff, and brand. In this day and age of a “young man’s game,” joining forces with a larger team, with support systems, and personnel to give the utmost care to the residents Wyoming has been a blessing for all involved.
I have complete confidence in my entire team throughout the Intermountain West and I look forward to pushing forward with our mission to go to the high country by Empowering-Active Aging. Now let’s get you hearing the wonders of your world. I will be available to see patients in Rock Springs on Tuesdays and Lander on Thursdays.
