eric nilssonNilsson Hearing Clinics has been serving Southern Utah for nearly 35 years. They've built a tremendous reputation for quality of patient care and service. Intermountain Audiology is pleased to announce that Nilsson Hearing Clinics has now become a part of the Intermountain family. Jointly, we share the mutual mission of Empowering Active-Aging.

Nilsson's story began in 1982 when founder Mark W. Nilsson, BC-HIS opened their first location in St. George. Below is a letter from Eric Nilsson on the announcement:

Nilsson Hearing Clinics has been a central part of my entire life; having been founded by my father two years before I was born. Having joined the family business, and helping it expand into Richfield and Cedar City years ago, I find great satisfaction helping the people of Utah reconnect with their family, friends, and community.

By joining with Intermountain Audiology founder Jeff Manwaring, and Intermountain Audiology’s family of patients, staff, and locations, we continue to position our clinics as the largest and most comprehensive team of hearing care specialists in all of the Intermountain West.

Having Jeff and Intermountain Audiology join with us in unity to further the cause of Empowering Active-Aging for all the residents in the Intermountain West is a testament to his desire and our shared goals, efforts, and mission to bring true change to the lives of individuals in our communities.

We have people come in who have been isolated from their friends and family for years. Some have had bad experiences, and others don’t even realize how isolated they are until we open the door for them. Restoring and improving hearing can have a total 180-degree effect on their lives. We’ve had some clients cry tears of joy in the office because they are so happy to once again feel that connection with their world. It’s an incredibly fulfilling feeling for our staff.

That mission inspires us to keep on growing. Our goal is to reach as many people looking for help as possible, and to help them reach the happiness they’ve been searching for. All of that passion for excellence comes along with the best full-time service offices in the Intermountain West. Without that level of service and care, the growth we have been experiencing wouldn’t be worth it.

Combined, we are the longest-tenured hearing care clinics in Southern Utah; we are proud to have successfully treated thousands of residents across the Intermountain West during the last 34 years. We look forward to welcoming you into any of our seven offices which feature the most kind and caring staff members, revolutionary diagnostic and treatment capabilities, and a healthcare experience like you have never had the opportunity to enjoy.

Eric Nilsson
