Patient Experience Coordinator
I enjoy my role as our First Impression Specialist at Intermountain Audiology Hearing Clinics. Each month, I interact with thousands of patients in Southern Utah, and I am responsible for greeting each patient who comes through the door and making sure they have a fabulous patient experience, including a beverage and a treat (or two).
I was born in Southern Illinois and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Denver for 14 years before the cold weather got the better of me and I moved to St. George, Utah in 1995. I have two grown daughters and love getting together with them when they are in town. In my spare time away from the office, I really enjoy the mountains and hiking along the canyons. It is not as often as I would like, but a few times a month you can find me out enjoying the local golf courses in Southern Utah. As an avid golfer, I am always looking for someone to hit the links with… just give me a call! In addition to golf, I am probably best known in the community for my many medals won bowling in the Huntsman Senior Games each year.
A people person through and through, I enjoy interacting with the public, our community, and our family of patients. I strive to have a nurturing heart and to be a genuine person, and I hope to always be this way. My goal every day is to create a positive environment at our office, a place where each and every patient feels welcomed and at home.
As the proud mother of two boys and their beautiful wives, I am lucky enough to have three grandsons who make me so proud and who give my life even more meaning. My heart led me to Parowan, Utah, three years ago to care for my mother and father before his passing at age 86 early in 2015.
I believe in changing lives with simple things like listening, and I believe that is why I fit in so well with our team. This philosophy works beautifully in all aspects of life and in every interaction I have on a daily basis. If you ever have a concern, let me know, and I will put my skills and heart to work to make it a better experience for us all.
When I am not changing others’ lives, I spend my time camping in nature or enveloping myself in the artistic realm of music and crafts. I love to extend my heart tenderly to animals, children, and seniors, and my appreciation for life and living shines through daily.
Growing up in Southern California during the baby boom era gave me an opportunity for lots of neighborhood friends, fond memories of playing night games during the summer months, and in general, an exciting childhood. I was always an exuberant child with lots of energy. I liked going to school, but more for the social aspect than the academics. In high school, I was on the Student Council, was a member of many clubs, sang in the choir, and would cheer the sports teams on to victory as a cheerleader. I was active and lived life to its fullest. During college, I met my wonderful husband and married at the young age of 18. We have been married for 36 years, have two sons, three daughters, two sons-in-law and a grandson (who is really cute). I am one lucky gal.
My husband and I moved our family to Saint George, Utah, in 1993. The red mountains, beautiful landscape, fantastic hiking trails, and friendly people have enriched our lives. I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom for 18 years and help raise our children. When my last child graduated from school, I entered the medical field, where I became aware of Intermountain Audiology and their goal to help improve the lives of those with hearing loss and help them continue to live their lives to the fullest through improved hearing. I have already met so many wonderful people who are so excited about their new hearing devices, and I love to hear their stories about what a difference it has made for them. I’m excited to be part of Intermountain Audiology and look forward to meeting and getting to know each individual who comes by my exit desk.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always felt great satisfaction from helping people. Every job I’ve had has been in customer service. For me, it feels natural. I’ve been in management most of my career and even owned my own successful business. I decided it was time for a change and made the decision to sell my business and start a new journey in health care.
Outside of the office, I am a family gal. I’m a very proud mother of a 17-year-old boy and a wife of 21 years. I have lived in central Utah all of my life and have no plans to relocate. My family and I enjoy all outdoor activities. A few of our favorites are riding our horses, fishing, and camping. I am also a life coach/fitness instructor. I very much enjoy encouraging people to live the healthiest lives possible.
I am very excited to be a part of the Intermountain Audiology team. I enjoy meeting all the people who come through the door. I love hearing all their stories and take pride in knowing that I am able to contribute in helping them through their hearing struggles and making a difference in each of their lives.

"I've been with Dr. Manwarring for several years now. Having a good audiologist is very important to me. I've tried a couple of others, and they just don't seem to fit right with my needs and expectations.I would highly recommend Dr. Manwarring to anyone. Because of him, I have been given quality care, relate well with him, and I know I can depend on him to help me with my hearing aid and hearing loss needs."- Michelle B.
"They are always professional and friendly. They were able to assist my mother with getting hearing aids that work for her. They knew what type would suit her best. Service is excellent. I would recommend them to everyone who has hearing issues!"- Joan Y.
"Justin Bateman, the audiologist I worked with for my annual follow up and maintenance. He was so knowledgeable and thorough. He made a minor tweak to my hearing aids to adjust for a slight change in my hearing. It noticeably improved my hearing while wearing my hearing aids. Justin was very pleasant and efficient to deal with. I highly recommend this office."- Kerry W.
"Extremely professional with state-of-the-art technology. This was a big change from all the other low-budget offices I have visited over the years. I highly recommend them! You will not regret it!"- David L.
"My hearing devices has given me a new life. I can understand conversations with out straining and stopped the confusion on my part of the conversation. The people at Intermountain Audiology were great to work with and answered all of my questions. I would recommend them highly."- David B.
