Morgan Hutchings
Director of Operations

morgan hutchings of intermountain audiologyMy entire life, I have had a great deal of respect for the generations that came before me.  Thanks to the lessons instilled in me by my mother and father at a young age, I understand that we all leave an imprint on this world. I have heard and learned from the stories of previous generations regarding how much things have changed in their lifetime – from my grandfather’s stories of serving our country as a young man to my grandmother’s stories of growing up on the old family farm. These stories of serving, growing, learning, and making an impact on future generations fascinate me to this day. The knowledge and wisdom that my elders have is something that I continue to appreciate and learn from. As I’ve grown older, I find myself wondering: “Just how much wisdom and knowledge do the cumulative generations have?”

Having graduated from Dixie State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Communication, I believe I am given the chance each and every day to communicate with the people around me on more than a superficial basis. My role as Director of Operations at Intermountain Audiology allows me to truly know, love, and communicate with so many great people of previous generations who have that same wisdom and knowledge that continues to intrigue me. As Director of Operations, I have the responsibility – and the great opportunity – to communicate with each person as an individual human being, listening to their concerns and questions, as well as crafting and communicating positive change or influence in their life through restored hearing clarity.

My role at Intermountain Audiology allows me to be enlightened each day by the great generations of individuals before me, and for me to provide life-enhancement services to keep them actively-engaged and connected to their friends, family, and loved ones for many years to come. Watching our patients’ eyes light up with a glow when they can once again hear the way they used to will forever change my life… and theirs!

Robyn Martin
Office Coordinator

robyn martin of intermountain audiologyAs long as I can remember, one of my passions in life has been to serve others. I have worked in the medical field for over 10 years and loved every minute of it. The bonds created between myself and our patients are unbreakable. I’ve worked in Human Resources, Administration, and – most importantly – Managed Patient Care, and I have mastered the art of Excellence in Customer Experience. That moment when you have the ability to help someone feel better, live better, or simply make their day is the most gratifying thing to me.

I come from a big, beautiful family, and I was born and raised in Sunny Southern California. I thought I would live there forever, until I started a family of my own and decided that it was time to move on. The traffic alone was enough for me! I was looking for a quiet, peaceful community enriched with beauty and history, and an environment where I would be proud to raise my children. I believe I’ve found it here in St. George. It’s been 8 years now, and even though I pass the Temple each day on my way to work, it still takes my breath away. I am an overly proud Mother of 6 children, 2 of whom are off to college and another one on the way. As a family, we enjoy spending time together watching sports, preferably going to Lakers games. I enjoy living in the moment, and I appreciate all of the opportunities this life has to offer.

Luann Hutchins
Patient Experience Coordinator

luann hutchins of intermountain audiologyI enjoy my role as our First Impression Specialist at Intermountain Audiology Hearing Clinics. Each month, I interact with thousands of patients in Southern Utah, and I am responsible for greeting each patient who comes through the door and making sure they have a fabulous patient experience, including a beverage and a treat (or two).

I was born in Southern Illinois and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Denver for 14 years before the cold weather got the better of me and I moved to St. George, Utah in 1995. I have two grown daughters and love getting together with them when they are in town. In my spare time away from the office, I really enjoy the mountains and hiking along the canyons. It is not as often as I would like, but a few times a month you can find me out enjoying the local golf courses in Southern Utah. As an avid golfer, I am always looking for someone to hit the links with… just give me a call! In addition to golf, I am probably best known in the community for my many medals won bowling in the Huntsman Senior Games each year.

Valorea Gallegos
Patient Experience Coordinator

valorea gallegos of intermountain audiologyA people person through and through, I enjoy interacting with the public, our community, and our family of patients. I strive to have a nurturing heart and to be a genuine person, and I hope to always be this way. My goal every day is to create a positive environment at our office, a place where each and every patient feels welcomed and at home.

As the proud mother of two boys and their beautiful wives, I am lucky enough to have three grandsons who make me so proud and who give my life even more meaning. My heart led me to Parowan, Utah, three years ago to care for my mother and father before his passing at age 86 early in 2015.

I believe in changing lives with simple things like listening, and I believe that is why I fit in so well with our team. This philosophy works beautifully in all aspects of life and in every interaction I have on a daily basis. If you ever have a concern, let me know, and I will put my skills and heart to work to make it a better experience for us all.

When I am not changing others’ lives, I spend my time camping in nature or enveloping myself in the artistic realm of music and crafts. I love to extend my heart tenderly to animals, children, and seniors, and my appreciation for life and living shines through daily.

Star Gotcher
Patient Experience Coordinator

star gotcher of intermountain audiologyGrowing up in Southern California during the baby boom era gave me an opportunity for lots of neighborhood friends, fond memories of playing night games during the summer months, and in general, an exciting childhood. I was always an exuberant child with lots of energy. I liked going to school, but more for the social aspect than the academics. In high school, I was on the Student Council, was a member of many clubs, sang in the choir, and would cheer the sports teams on to victory as a cheerleader. I was active and lived life to its fullest. During college, I met my wonderful husband and married at the young age of 18. We have been married for 36 years, have two sons, three daughters, two sons-in-law and a grandson (who is really cute). I am one lucky gal.

My husband and I moved our family to Saint George, Utah, in 1993. The red mountains, beautiful landscape, fantastic hiking trails, and friendly people have enriched our lives. I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom for 18 years and help raise our children. When my last child graduated from school, I entered the medical field, where I became aware of Intermountain Audiology and their goal to help improve the lives of those with hearing loss and help them continue to live their lives to the fullest through improved hearing. I have already met so many wonderful people who are so excited about their new hearing devices, and I love to hear their stories about what a difference it has made for them. I’m excited to be part of Intermountain Audiology and look forward to meeting and getting to know each individual who comes by my exit desk.

Sam Perez
Patient Experience Coordinator

sam perez of intermountain audiologyI was born and raised in Rancho Cucamonga, California. I am the oldest of three children, and I am the only girl. Growing up, I was involved in many different sports, but my favorite to play was soccer, which I continued to play throughout high school. In 2014, I decided that I needed a change of scenery and transferred to Dixie State University to continue my schooling, where I am studying psychology.

I am so excited to be a part of the Intermountain Audiology team as a Patient Experience Coordinator! The people that I get the pleasure to work with are absolutely amazing, and I also love being able to make people’s lives better each day. I especially enjoy talking to patients and hearing the stories that they love to share with other people. Just knowing that I am fortunate to work for a company that helps people live their lives to the fullest is extremely rewarding.

Jenny Hanley

jenny hanley of intermountain audiologyI am excited to be working at Intermountain Audiology as a Patient Experience Coordinator. I love working with such a great group of people and love the positive environment I am in each day. This Positivity is passed on to the people whom Intermountain Audiology serves as they come into our office to receive care for their hearing health. As the Patient Experience Coordinator, I love being a part of the process in helping people to live a better quality of life and be able to communicate with those they love.

I was born and raised in Northern Utah, and over the years I have had the opportunity to live in California, Kansas City, and Washington State. I have loved the adventures and growth that these opportunities have given me, and I am now living in my favorite place, St. George. I am married and have 3 adult children, two daughters, one son, and now a daughter-in-law. I am also a Grandma to a little girl named Charly, and she is our sunshine. In my spare time, you will most likely find me with my camera outdoors in nature with my husband and yellow Labs alongside me, antiquing, finding a new creative outlet, or spending time with my family, especially that granddaughter Charly.

Brandy Schaugaard
Patient Experience Coordinator

brandy schaugaard of intermountain audiologyFor as long as I can remember, I’ve always felt great satisfaction from helping people. Every job I’ve had has been in customer service. For me, it feels natural. I’ve been in management most of my career and even owned my own successful business. I decided it was time for a change and made the decision to sell my business and start a new journey in health care.

Outside of the office, I am a family gal. I’m a very proud mother of a 17-year-old boy and a wife of 21 years. I have lived in central Utah all of my life and have no plans to relocate. My family and I enjoy all outdoor activities. A few of our favorites are riding our horses, fishing, and camping. I am also a life coach/fitness instructor. I very much enjoy encouraging people to live the healthiest lives possible.

I am very excited to be a part of the Intermountain Audiology team. I enjoy meeting all the people who come through the door. I love hearing all their stories and take pride in knowing that I am able to contribute in helping them through their hearing struggles and making a difference in each of their lives.

"I've been with Dr. Manwarring for several years now. Having a good audiologist is very important to me. I've tried a couple of others, and they just don't seem to fit right with my needs and expectations.I would highly recommend Dr. Manwarring to anyone. Because of him, I have been given quality care, relate well with him, and I know I can depend on him to help me with my hearing aid and hearing loss needs."

"Justin Bateman, the audiologist I worked with for my annual follow up and maintenance. He was so knowledgeable and thorough. He made a minor tweak to my hearing aids to adjust for a slight change in my hearing. It noticeably improved my hearing while wearing my hearing aids. Justin was very pleasant and efficient to deal with. I highly recommend this office."
